Nanette Lepore Dress

Nanette Lepore Dress

If you’ve never heard of Nanette Lepore, let me help you decide if Nanette Lepore is a fashion designer tag that you might want to wear on your next dress. Once you see her designs you’ll soon understand why women are lined up waiting to buy a new Nanette Leopore dress. Nanette Lepore’s dresses are the ultimate in luxury and are often seen worn by celebrities that can afford to buy the very best. A luxury dress that is absolutely perfect for special occasions, Sunday brunch or evening cocktails. A Nanette Lepore dress is the perfect answer to what to wear when you want to look dressed up and feminine. Each Nanette Lepore dress balances feminine details with a seductive sensibility. Nanette Lepore dresses are well known for their beautiful designs and fine fabrics and is one of my very favorite designers.

This vibrant yellow, comfortable dress by Nanette Lepore is a must have for Spring this year. It’s called the Yellow Knit Escapade dress. I love this dress because it has a loose, less form fitting shape yet, when paired with the attached belt will accentuate your curves just right. The neckline of this Nanette Lepore dress is the best part; adorned with ruffles and a rosette. It has a flirty gathered bottom. Purchase this dress at edressme. Michelle Obama on Cover of O

Michelle Obama on O Magazine

Michelle Obama on O Magazine

What’s Michelle Obama wearing now! She recently shared the April cover of O magazine with Oprah, herself. Michelle wore a Michael Kors dress, making this the second time she has opted to wear Michael Kors. She wore one of his designer dresses for her White House portrait, too. Oprah hasn’t shared the cover of her magazine in over nine years and maybe should have re-thought letting this photo shoot publish. Compared to Michelle, she looks awful! Anyway, O magazine got the first interview from the White House, which is probably well deserved after all the financial support she offered up to the Obama campaign.

Back to Michelle Obama’s choice in fashion for this shoot on the cover of O, the red Kors dress is probably sleeveless!! I know, how could she choose another sleeveless dress after all the recent criticism?!? I think the yellow cardigan compliments her look and makes her appear more of an elegant first lady. She seems to look best in bright cheerful colors like fuschia, lime, and yellows. The clear belt, however, in my opinion, cheapens the pretty Spring dress. What do you think? Maybe a black patent leather belt would have looked better???
